Darcy Lally is a senior honors student at Fitchburg State University studying film and photography as well as pursuing a minor in computer science. She was the 2023 Film Student of the year and she has been awarded the President's Scholar Award as well as the Robert W. Wilson Memorial Scholarship throughout her college career. She is also a member of the Massachusetts chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art. Darcy has a deep love and passion for working on films. She loves to learn and has gathered an array of skills including directing, cinematography, producing, gaffing, editing, and color grading. Darcy enjoys working with others and collaborating to create the best project possible.

Producer

Sam Boland has been a part of many different projects in his time at Fitchburg State University. Going into his senior year, he has produced two films and has also done work with creating promotional videos for Fitchburg Art Museum. With his experience in all aspects of film, Sam is drawn the most to the producing and marketing side of the film industry.

Emily Gelinas is an honors student at Fitchburg State University studying film production. With a keen eye for detail and a love for storytelling, Emily aspires to carve out a successful career as a professional film editor. Her films have been featured in the 2022 and 2023 Visions Exhibition and the 2023 Women in the Arts show. She was also the recipient of the 2021 LaCoy Scholarship writing competition.

Alyssa Fields is an honors student at Fitchburg State University, studying film and PR/advertising. She was awarded Film Student of the year in 2024, as well as the winner of the Gunther G. Hoos Memorial Award. She has interned at Another Age Productions (Newton, MA) and worked part-time at Fitchburg Access Television. Eager to work on as many projects as possible, Alyssa is excited to utilize her creativity and attention-to-detail to tell compelling stories. Her goal is to become a professional film/television editor, as well as pursue her passion for screenwriting.

Producer | Assistant Director

Marissa Cloutier is a senior film and photography student at Fitchburg State University. She is an assistant director and producer who has a passion for managing sets. She has been a part of many different projects where she was able to contribute her professional event managing experience. Marissa has produced/assistant directed five different projects including season two of a web series called Balls of Tin. She has also been featured in the 2023 Fitchburg State University Visions exhibition for her work in photography. On the side, Marissa is a part of Sterling Lancaster Community TV where she is a contract videographer and helps out with local productions.

Cinematographer

Ryan Stickney is a senior at Fitchburg State University. He has experience in the film industry doing free lance jobs for numerous brands such as Mac Trucks, Volvo, REI and Ahearn equipment which deal with Kubota, Sany and ASV. With these jobs, he was responsible for the shooting and editing of commercial videos which were either shown on social media or streaming apps like Hulu. He is energized when collaborating on a team and loves to work with other talented students.

Chief Lighting Technician

Jake Snyder, grip and electrical, is a Communications Media Major with a concentration in Film/Video entering his senior year of college. He was Fitchburg State University's Video Student of the year in 2023. He is incredibly hard working and talented in his field with a passion for collaborating with others.

Editor | Boom Operator

Jeremy Allik is a rising senior at Fitchburg State University who has possessed a passion for filmmaking since the 6th grade. Throughout his time at college, Jeremy has specialized in video editing, but has just recently entered the realm of boom operation and sound recording. This past school year Jeremy helped edit two short films, Subtle Signs (Directed by Darcy Lally) and Will-O’-The-Wisp (Directed by Emily Gelinas).

Matthew Baier is a sound recordist, audio producer, and engineer who has a passion for audio production. Matt's goal is to help create the best possible audio experience; whether it's for a TV show, a movie, or just for fun.

Score Composer

Eliza Gelinas is a musician, artist and educator located in Western Massachusetts. Gelinas’ recent music aims to create space for audiences to be confronted with issues of mental health, gender identity, society, and climate anxiety. With the use of abstract forms, lush harmonies and layers of palpable texture through unique instrumental writing, their music welcomes vivid imagery and always tells a story. Eliza holds a Master of Music degree from The Hartt School at University of Hartford. Their work has recently been displayed at The DIY Film Festival in Long Beach, CA, House of Shadows Gallery in Tampa, FL, Composer’s Festival of Hartford, CT, and at the University of Berlin, Studium Generale. Eliza curates a youtube channel for their audiovisual pieces to live on and also enjoys producing arrangements of popular songs, art studio vlogs and environmental asmr.
